Hidden Screw System

16-2

The Hidden Screw System uses the same standard installation procedure shown in the Technical Guide. The installed cost is 5% to 10% more than conventional face fastening.

The heads of the fastening screws are to be countersunk to approximately 3/32" below the aggregate surface.

The screw heads are hidden by a patch of cold setting resin, matching the matrix color. Loose aggregate is pressed into the surface prior to the hardening of the resin.

GRAHAM FRP Composites supplies patch kits including resin, hardener, aggregate and instructions.
