Fluted Surface for Unique Effects

The stone surface of GRANEX® can be grooved or 'fluted' to suit the architect's or owner's design preference. A fluted pattern can be created that is unique to the building, creating striking play with light and shadows throughout the day. Flutes can be custom specified at a nominal charge or designers can select from standard designs: regular 1", 4" or 8" spacing in the lengthwise direction of the panel. Fluted GRANEX® in both directions is available on request, yielding patterns reminiscent of squared block or sandstone.
