For new construction projects or as replacements for deteriorated metal and cement board, CHEMCLAD® roofing and siding panels are furnished in profiles to match virtually any industrial building panel. Please inquire for the availability of profiles not listed in this category.

Panels are provided in various weights and laminates to cover a broad range of structural and building requirements. Standard colors include grey, white, beige, stone white, and translucent. In addition, custom colors are easily formulated to match existing materials or for special requirements. In CHEMCLAD® opaque panels, color is pigmented throughout the material.

Fire Retardance

Standard CHEMCLAD® panels are fire retardant and have self extinguishing properties. These materials demonstrate a Class I Flame Spread Index of 25 or less when tested in accordance with ASTM E-84.

GFM panels have a Flame Spread Index of 10 and Smoke Density Index of 500.

CHEMCLAD® S Series

S Series panels are developed for applications where greater light transmission is needed and structural requirements are less stringent.

Glass reinforcements in S Series panels are chopped strand and make up 25% of the material weight. Greater light transmission can be developed through these materials when compared to C Series panels.

S Series panels are formulated with a premium grade, isophthalic polyester resin for operating conditions with chemical and high humidity exposures. This resin system provides chemical resistance and a permanent binder for the reinforcements. The standard materials have a Class I flame spread rating of less than 25. For applications where a high level of corrosion resistance and a Class I Flame Spread Rating is not required, S Series panels can be formulated in a low cost, general purpose, orthophthalic polyester resin.
