To have a low life cycle cost a material must have a long service life and require little or no maintenance. Far outlasting metal, wood, and cement board, CHEMCLAD® can be specified for virtually any industrial environment and chemical vapor exposure.

CHEMCLAD® isophthalic polyester and vinyl ester resins were developed by major chemical companies specifically to resist attack from aggressive chemicals and/or high humidity. Formulated with these premium grade materials and color pigmented throughout the material, CHEMCLAD® roofing and siding panels do not rust, rot, or experience flaking under the toughest conditions. Unlike coated metals which have unprotected points at sheet edges and fastening points, CHEMCIAD® does not have any weak points.

The polyester resin system is designed for use in splash and spill chemical conditions with moderate operating temperatures (up to 150 degrees Fahrenheit). The vinyl ester system has better strength retention at high temperatures and can be used in operating temperatures up to 225 degrees Fahrenheit.
